Extremely winter-hardy, our native Iris versicolor features unique blue-violet flowers on 2' to 3’ tall plants in late spring - early summer. Sword-like, upright foliage is attractive after blooming.  Clumps will increase in size each season, with an ever-increasing number of blooms.  Best in damp to wet soil but accepts average garden conditions.
