Drooping leucothoe is an attractive native evergreen understory plant with lustrous green foliage on long, arching strems.  Drooping white flower clusters emerge from leaf axils in mid-spring.  Prefers cool, moist, acidic, shaded, protected locations and will thrive in these conditions with ferns, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, and other shade plants.
